‘a night of inside-outdoors art’
We’re smack dab in the middle of Vancouver’s gloomiest season, so we’ve decided to invite some of our favorite artists who work in the great out-of-doors to come inside and warm up with us.

Remember when your parents would tell you to go out and get some fresh air? Do you remember hearing about how smart Henry David Thoreau was for thinking it’s nice to be outside? This month’s crew of SNAG artists took those lessons to heart, eschewed the dark and dusty corners of an art studio and took their work to the streets. They brave sun, rain, wind and weird strangers to provide the people of their communities with high-quality public art, forcing Vancouverites to begrudgingly accept a modicum of culture and personality in the city.
