BUTTERFLY GARDEN

In my childhood I drew and painted all the time. We often visited the Butterfly garden in the neighbourhood after ours and that’s where inspiration was born. My aunt would let us play and run along the butterflies for hours. My cousin and I learned to feed them fruit. The butterflies love eating juicy and ripe guayabas. Sugar made their wings flutter even faster but while the butterflies were eating they would be so still. A moment for us to stare at their beautiful intricate wings and bodies. And then, then we would go home to draw.
